I pretty much have the habit to spazz so I missed writing here for a few weeks.
Let me see.
1. My wedding in May
2. Di’s graduation in June
3. Mom/Tita Ad/ Lola’s departure
4. First drive to Eagle Rock/Pasadena, alone.
5. Altura’s visit in August
6. Adopting Pico the cat in mid August
7. Finishing all medical exams and paperwork for immigration
The last two entries were the ones that stressed me out the most. An animal is a joy, but Pico really is a very sweet and spoiled cat. So sometimes he can be willful when he doesn’t get his way. I love him though. however he doesnt seem to be very happy in our small apartment. He may need a companion animal too.

Our apartment manager caught wind of an animal in our apartment so I was sort of able to fess up about the existence of a cat, but since we are planning to rehome him anyway, we dont plan to pay the pet deposit.
I don’t feel too good about rehoming pico but it does tie us down to the apartment too much, esp looking ahead for all the holidays we plan to go out of town etc.
But then its better than bringing him back to the shelter where he just might be taken down.
Speaking of untimely deaths, many iconic figures met their Creator in the past few months, including Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, that guy from the infomercials, Cory Aquino (the whole Philippines mourned this former first lady President) and just recently, Patrick Swayze succumbed to his long time fight with pancreatic cancer. John Hughes and DJ AM also died recently as well.
Not only that, a friend and former coworker passed away from a condition called Lupus, and it was very sad, as she was such a nice person.
It is a very strange and sad time. We are indeed passing through a new era.
